GPC / BEFORE CALCINATION
Raw (green) petroleum coke
Raw, or green, petroleum coke is a carbon-rich solid produced by refinery coking. It has not undergone calcination and retains moisture and residual volatile hydrocarbons. “Green” refers to its processing state.

Where it is used
Cement production
Fuel-grade petroleum coke supplies heat in cement kilns. Calorific value, sulphur content and grindability are important to fuel selection.
Power & industrial heat
Used as fuel in installations designed for petroleum coke. The grade is matched to the combustion system and its operating requirements.
Feedstock for calcination
Selected grades are heat-treated to produce calcined petroleum coke for carbon products. Metals, sulphur and material characteristics influence suitability.
Choosing the right grade
Fuel-grade coke and coke for calcination have different quality requirements. For an enquiry, share the intended application and a product analysis or specification.
Send the required specification, quantity, destination and delivery timeframe to discuss commercial terms.
